                                  My future profession

Now I am a second-year student of the College of the Dagestan State University.

I am a future lawyer in the sphere of social welfare. Law students are to study lots of legal disciplines: Civil law, Criminal law, Labor law, Constitutional law, Law and Organization of Social Welfare and also Statistics, Informatics, Mathematics, Management, English and others. Second-year students have to come to classes at 12 or 14 and study till 18.30. But I like these hours because I have free time on mornings and evenings. If you are interested in sports, dancing, arts and so on, you can spend your free time taking part in different students’ clubs, circles and sections.  Why have I chosen this career? Well, I think a lawyer is the most welleducated specialist among all other professions. First, a lawyer should possess extensive knowledge in jurisprudence. He must read much and should be good at speaking in public. Second, a lawyer working in social security provides legal help and advice the most vulnerable members of the society. Isn’t it a humane profession?  After finishing the college, I have two ways to choose. First, I can enter the University (day department) and become a more qualified specialist in the spheres of civil or criminal law or social security. Second, I can work and study at correspondent department of the University. So, the college students have all the opportunities to continue their study.
